Safe, fast, effective treatment for any skin colour and hair that is light brown to black in colour.
CLHR works by pulsing the laser light to destroy the hair follicle at the root. Also, the strength of the energy is being delivered and how long the pulse to the hair follicle is. If all three of things are correct results should be about 20% reduction of hair with each session. The Primelaser Diode system meets all those requirements. It is the best version of lasers for hair removal.
The best results come from:
- Strength of laser/ wavelength of laser/ pulse duration = Primelase HR can deliver these
- Colour of hair/thickness of hair
- Having hair present/ so no waxing/tweezing/electrolysis for 4 weeks before minimum
- Hormone hair may need more treatments than average (ladies with POS, facial hair)
- Regular treatments: face every 4-6 weeks body every 6-10 weeks
- Number of treatments: suggest budget for minimum of 6 sessions
(some people may need more) - Realizing you will never be 100% hair free, good results are around 80%
- Arrive for your appointment, shaved and free of moisturizers, fake tan and a fresh tan, use a sunscreen on the area(s) you want to have treated.
- If you can’t reach the areas that have to be shaved, we can take care of that for you for a small fee $50.
- Treatments can be a bit “spicy” we suggest to take an Advil or Tylenol prior to appointment. Those who have abundant hair can benefit from taking a 12–24-hour antihistamine for first couple of visits.
- If you have a history of herpes simplex a treatment 1 day before and 2 days after with an antiviral can help suppress a breakout. If you need a prescription for this, please let us know our NP can help.
